More Than 160 Tons Of Food Parcels Sent To UK From Colony

Since November last year 161 tons of food parcels have boon sont to the United Kingdom by Hong Kong's Food Parcels to Britain Fund." The parcels were sent in nine consignments, total- ling 361,404 pounds, to the Women's Volun- tary Services, British Red Cross, and Salvation Army for distribution to deserving individuals, hospitals, orphanages and other charitable in- stitutions.
