Shanghai, November 11.. The Garrison Headquarters in Nanking this morning promulgated martial. law and curfew for the entire area within its jurisdiction, which ex- tends from Shanghai in the East, 'to Anking, capital fo Anhwei Pro- vince, in the West, and from Hangchow in the South to Pongpu in the North.
The curfew, which begins tonight, will be from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. (local
time.
The proclamation in Nanking said that during the period of martial law the possession of arms, or other dangerous weapons, is strictly pro- hibited, and public amusement places must close every night before 10 p.m., and shops before 7 p.m.
