Opium Found In Australian Port

Melbourne, October 11, Australion customs men here today seized 350 lbs weight of oplum Worth about £22,000 aboard, the 8,075 tong inotor ves- sel Chanda owned by the British India Steamship Navigation Com-

pany.

The oplum was found in six hesalan bags slung from hools Inside the funnel. It was the biggest haul of opium ever made in in Australian port.
