Readers' Letters

This is the first timy I have read Teen Age Topics but I found it so very interesting that I've already liked it.

"What's His Type" certainly give, a lot of fresh (and good) ideas.. I am go ing to try it on the next conversation with any boy, and I'll tell you the re- sult if you like.

I think the contest idea is wonderful. And I am joining it, because I've al- ways loved to write. It is neither a short story nor an article, but a simple essay on boys. I do hope you won't get mad at me just because you are a boy yourself.

ALICE POON.

The idea of a Fashion Club wili really be interesting. I am sure many other girls will be interested. I was very pleased to read your suggestion- of having a committee meeting every week, I think that's fine.

I will be pleased to help you run the club and

hope you'll start it soon. Now I have a suggestion to make.

You seem to be cramped for time to write all the articles for your paper. Why don't you pick out two or three teen agers who are interested in the paper to help you? You could all meet once a week to discuss some points and to help you along. I am sure

you would like to have some teen agers to give you their comments. In this way you will be more certain of yourself and be more confident of your work. Won't you give it a try?

The column "What's His Type" is OK but not too hot. Tips should be given as to what girls and boys should do when they meet and are both ton- gue tied, and many more other points etc.

WANDA R. Here are our opinions of the articles on your page.

Hello Thera: If you continue using bad grammar you will soon have to be saying "Goodbye there." While we're on the subject, excellent books on grammar may be obtained at Kelly & Walsh, (Don't mistake us for advertis- ing agents.)

Clam For a Lan-What lass would want to stay in an empty office just to take off her Jacket? Deeply-scooped back and fronts are also rather odd. (Bightly concave, what!)

What's His Type:---If a girl wants to be considered off her trolley, sho should definitely take note of this ar ticle. (By the way, what animal would you like to be--a wolft)

This Week's Contests-Why should there be plenty of action in articles on hobbler, ambitions or even short

stories?

Is it abeolutely necessary to tire conself out collecting stamps etc.. or thinking of a future career?

Although your other articles could

be greatly improved on, credit is due to Teen Apa Types.ză!

Teen Agers' Party

Ten days ago some junior teen agers had a party. It was small, but all those there knew it was going to be good.

The hostess, Diana Stansfield, came out with a bright smile, a new hair-do and the new look.

The party was a success because it was well planned and things went like clockwork. Games like "Who Am I?” Musical Arms, В memory contest, and a treasure hunt, were fun.

The food was good, really good, and to top it off there were some movie shorts, a comedy, a western thriller. the pews, and so on.

The party lasted from 6:30 to 9. full of entertainment and fun, so here's hoping you have as much fun on your next party, as I did covering this one.
