Tokyo, Feb. 9. Japan's Socialist-led coalition Cabinet fell today and prepared the nation for a swing to Con- servatism. Premier Tetsu Katayama's gov- ernment fell because it could not lick in- flation. Its revenue-raising programme was not acceptable to the Leftwing members of the Premier's own Social Democratic Party and other opposition from a Conservative bloc in the Japanese Diet.
