Mr. Wynne-Jones revealed that December, 1947 broke all records for the nmount of postage stamps sold.

In that month stamps sales. -recorded $700,000 odl. The pre-

Fees for brandcasting licences had established a record.

At the end of December the amount was $22,000 as against $14,000 just before the war.

There would be no immediate change in the design of Hong Kong's postage stamps for some; time to come.

It was not proposed to issue for sale books of stamps, due to luck of interleaving material to prevent the stampa sticking.
