TERAUCHI'S SKELETON"

(By Charles A. Grumich).

New York, Aug. 24. Netherlands are rattling, the skeleton of the late Japanese Field Marshal Count Teräuchl in the apparent hope of convincing.world opinion that the Republic of Indonesia is an Illegitimate offspring of Japan's. "co-prosperity sphere." The Dutch appear to be reviving this argument to offset the widespread inclination to side with the Indonesians as underdogs against Europeans who have ruled the Indies for three centuries.".

This inclination, the Dutch feel, is placing them at a disadvantage in all discussions of the Indo- nesian conflict. Hubertus Van Mook, acting Governor-General of the Indies, last week re- vived the theme that Terauchi indoctrinated Indonesian President.
