RUSSIAN SUSPICIONS Anglo-French Invitation To Talks

Marshall Plan For Europe

London, June 19.

Russia suspiciously questioned the motives behind the Anglo-French invitation to a conference on European reconstruction today, but at the same time permitted a dispatch from Moscow of hints that Foreign Minister Molotov would accept. Mr. Bevin flew back from Paris and went directly! to No. 10 Downing Street to report to thei Prime Minister and Cabinet on his two-day conference with Foreign Minister Bidault of France.
