The question of Britain's dollar credits with the United States flared in the House of Commons today and the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Hugh Dalton, said he could not assure Britons that imports of essential foods would not be cut.
Mr. Dalton silo.stepped a ques. tion on whether he would bring the question of dollar expen- ditures before the Commons in Eeneral debnic.
