"At present the general expenses borne by the real estate companies have proved to be many times heavier than those before the war. This, together with the cost of repairs necessitated by damages by the war, is a serious problem with which they are faced," sald Mr. Leung Kwal-tin, Chairman of Chinese Estates Ltd., at the Annual General Meeting of sharehold- ers yesterday.
