Sir Alexander Grantham's Appointment Announced

One Of Youngest In Recent History

The name of Hong Kong's next Goyernor, to suc- ceed II.E. Sir Mark Young, was officially announced by the Colonial Office last night. The appointment goes to Sir Alexander Grant- ham, who has been Governor of Fiji since 1944, Sir Alexander is only 48 years of age and is, there- fore, one of the youngest Governors in the Colony's recent history.
