Washington, Jan. 30. The International Emergency Food Council re- ported that growing nationalistic economic at- titudes and lack of cooperation in Russia and Argentina were hampering efforts to avert world "hunger and turmoil."
The Council said "very difficult times lie ahead" and that, at least until the next harvest, the emergency food programme to feed starving nations would be carried on "continuously in the presence of a crisis and threat of a crisis."
