The first post-war annual meeting of shareholders of the Indo-China Steam Navigation Co., Ltd., was held yesterday in the office of the General Managers, Messrs. Jardine Matheson & Co., Ltd., under the chairmanship" of Mr. F.A. Pollock.
The loss of 19 vessels of the Company's fleet as a result of the war as well as ships personnel, was revealed by the Chairman, who gave an account of the splendid contribution and heavy sacrifices of the Company in the service of the wär.
