New York, Nov. 25. The long expected demands of American automo bile workers for new wage increases, because of the increased cost of living in the United States, now have been made.

The automobile workers' strikes late in the year 1945 began the long series of strikes which dis- rupted American industrial production after the war ended.

Businessmen all over the world are wondering now if new strikes will result in further delay in American production.
