London, Nov. 7. Army football, both Soccer and Rugby, is jumping into position, in what will be the first full season of properly organised competitions since the war.

The Army Soccer Cup, för instance, with the memory of so many good finals at the Command ground at Aldershot in the Enster holidays, will come into its own. The pre- liminary and first rounds havo been completed among most, commands, while a similar com- petition is going on in the BAOR. In each section the finalists will eventually meet for the trophy on April 16, but this year with so few in the garrison at Aldershot, the match will almost certainly be played in London on a ground not yet decided, but very prob- ably Stamford Bridge.
