The public is reminded that. dogs must be muzzled or put on a lead when outdoors and no dog should be allowed to stray, or be moved from the mainland to Hong Kong, or vice versa, with- out written permission from the Colonial Veterinary Surgeon,
Persons bitten by dogs should report at once to the nearest police station or to the nearest Health Officer. They will be given anti-rabic treatment free of charge. A dog that has bitten! anybody should be handed to the Health Department.
