Atlantic City, March 19. Penicillin is losing its punch so rapidly that it is predicted that this wonder drug may become almost completely

- useless in a few years for a number of most preval-

ent diseases.

The trouble is not in penicillin but in special strains of germs present in many diseases which are able to resist penicillin and which are spreading rapidly while their fellows are being destroyed by the drug.
