After leading at the interval* by the odd goal in seven, Eastern, runners-up in First Division for the past two seasons, beat Police in a friendly football game at Boundary Street yesterday by 6 goals to 4 after leading 4-8 at half time, following which changes were made. -

'Howlett was the best Police forward on view and had he received better Ele support Police might have won, crowned a good afternoon's work by scoring all four goals. In defence Chan playing Kwong-yue was outstanding, well with Blackburn, and Tang Wing brought off several good saves.

For Eastern, Hsu King-seng, who is Just recovering from a knee injury, was seen in the forward line, where he did well, recording a "hat trick". Though.. V. K. Hyul did not score any goals he made most of the openings while Yuen Yau-lam, who played in the previous game for jimfore, also did well?
