ANOTHER
WIN FOR HIS MAJESTY
0
On Saturday His Majesty | 'the King's Big Game, by Bahram out of Myrobella, won a thrilling race-fort the valuable Champar Stakes by short head from Lord Derby's Watling Street, by Fairway out of Ranai. Lord Rosebery's Hyperides, by Hyperion out of Priscilla, was third, two lengths behind.
Trained by Fred Darling and ridden by Harry Wragg. Big Game scoted his fith win of the season, having thrice been successful as a cult in its early racing days. IL started a hot favourite at 2 to 1, while the betting on Watling Street was 7 to 2, and Hyperides
9 to 1.
Big Game was not quite in its usual brilliant form, and was put under pressure for the first time, but it kept its unbeaten record and the crowd showed their apprecia- tion of the King's 10th win of the seuson by cheering for a long period.-- Reuter.
