Last songon's football started weli with two quite good teams. but our casualties were heavy and progress considerably slowed up thereby. Wc managed, however, to maintain heavy pressure on all fronts and although we were beaten on many occasions we kept going and completed all our fix- tures. I am very glad to report that our captain, Williamson, who was in- jured very early last season, is now fit and ready to lead our teams to victory. The prospects of getting to-
