Japan Receives Warnings From America And Britain

MOVE INTO THAILAND DANGEROUS

A JAPANESE MOVE into Thailand would be considered as a step menacing American security and endangering American territory in the Pacific.

This was made clear by the U.S. Secretary of State, Mr. Cordell Hull, at his press con- ference in Washington yesterday.

Mr. Cordell Hull said the Unit- ed States Government had made clear its vital interest and opposi- tion to any moves of conquest in the Pacific and elsewhere.
