It was officially con- firmed in London last Chinese night that the
Government has request- ed the British Government to freeze Chinese assets in Britain and in the Bri- tish Empire.
The measures will be put into effect shortly.
The reason for the Chinese Government's desire is that the Japanese are in control of certain parts of China and consequently assets of those territories.
