Further information concerning the attack on Valetta harbour at Malta early on Saturday morn- ing is now available.

A joint Admiralty and War Office communique issued in Lon- don yesterday says: "Shortly be- fore 5 a.m. (local time) E-boats appeared off the harbour en- trance and fixed defences manned by the military garrison imme- diately engaged them.
