BARBERS IN AN ARGUMENT
Before Mr. H. G. Sheldon, K.C., at the Central Magistracy this morning, Yu Fung-choi, 28, bar- ber, was charged with giving false information to the Police. and with assaulting Chun Yuk-siu, barber on Saturday.
Inspector Tuckett said that ac- cused inet Chan in Centre Street and in an argument, he struck complainant with a hammer. When the Police arrived accused alleged that complainant had stolen $18 from ham on July 20. AL the Police Station, accused, however, admitted that the allegation was false.

DICE GAME SPOILED

The gambling den was on the second floor of No. 137, Kwei Lin Sircet. A dice game was being played when police ruided the premises on Saturday.
