Do Your Feet Ache?

Many things may cause your feel to ache posture defects, walking

hard pavements, standing too long on your feet. overweight, ill-atting shoes. a weakened spine or any one of a cluzen diseases Whatever the cause the remedy is usually cor - rective exercise, or treatment by a professional.

Miss Dorothy Nye, who has written a splendid book on exer- cise for the entire body, has ori- ginated a series of foul extr- cisey which has brought relief to

numerous women,

She suggests that these exercises be done with the weight off the feet, and she cautions one that foot reconstruction work is a long, tedious process. But perseverance will bring the results you yearn for--strong feet which give you no discomfort whatever.

Here is her fust foot routine which adult or child may practice every day.

Exercise 1: Lying down, feet apart, extend the legs straight out. heels pushing hard, and rotate the lot's inward, big toes touching. Relax and allow feet to fall back Tra place. Repeal five times. Relax again, Gradually work up to twenty times,

Exercise 2: Sitting up, legs stretched out from body, heels on floor, pull foot back from ankle joint as far as you can, at same time gripping toes under. Relax, then extend feet forward, toes leading, and grip with the ines. Relax and repeat both movements five times. Work up to twenty- five times,
