The arrest of numerous high officers of the Boli- vian Army has been announced by the Gov- ernment at La Paz. Those detained include six at the La Paz Military Col- lege.

The round-up of suspects cen- tred on the capital and the pro- vince of Cochabamba, where "a large number of officers and civi- lians, including German residents, have been taken into custody."
