At Rotterdam, there was a for- midable fire among the docks.

German air raid on Moscow, at 1.15 am. to-day, Moscow Radio went off the air whilst broadcasting its English programme. Later, transmission from the station was very bad and was scarce- ly intelligible. The Moscow communique on yesterday's operations has not yet been received in London-Reuter.
