BASEBALL LEAGUE DECISION

Sir-Anent the recent controv ersy between Hong Kong Brewery Baseball team and the H.K. Base- ball League Committee, may I point out the following salient facts?

1. A member of the H.B. team went personally to the Hon, Secretary at about 10.30 a.m. on Thursday, 10th July, and asked for a postponement of the game on Saturday, 12th, with Min- danao, which request the Secretary re- fused, at the same time stating that he would not recognise any verbal re- quests, but only an officially written Jetter from the Hon.
