SHANGHAI CRICKET CLUB WANDERERS MAINTAINED THEIR POSITION AT THE TOP OF THE SHANGHAI CRICKET LEAGUE WHEN THEY BEAT TYROS LAST SATURDAY BY 57 RUNS.

Wanderers were at full strength with D. W. Lench (71 not out) topping the score, while L. Under- wood hud 45 and L. F. Stokes 31 G. S. Dunkley, who kept wickets for Hong Kong some years ago in Interport matches against Shang- hai and Malaya, opened the innings for Wanderers but was run out after he had scored only 2. Wanderers declared with their total at 210 for 9.
