Nail Polish

We don't know who started the fad but it has swept the United States like mad making jew- elry out of sweets and nail polish

You take candy wafers for in- stance, paint thum with your favourite shade of nail polish, pierce them with a heated needle and hang them on old earring screws. Presto, you have smart, bright dangles for your ears.

Another trick is to paint hard candy cubes and string them together for a bracelet or nack- lace.

The little beauty in the photo- graph above is wearing a very chic lollipop lapel piece. Two penny lollipops coated with a new lollipop shade of nail polish. Then she paints her nails with

the same gray colour!

Yes, the new "jewelry" is fun and you can brighten up costume with it. Buy an array of pretty nail polish colours which accent nively the clothes " your spring and summer ward- robe. Be a little inventive too. For instance, paint candy cubes in different shades so the one bracelet or necklace will match at least three shades of fingernail polish? I know a group of girls who had a jewelry making party. Each arrived with her candy and nail polishes and the one who made the most artistic piece got the prize for the evening. More fun than bridge and quite pro- Htable, too!

Hand Masque Bleaches And Softens.

This is an excellent treatment to try before you step out for a gala evening. Your hands go scented as well as meticulously groomed!

Some may like their frankfur- ters sandwiched hot in a bun at a picnic. But as for me I'll take mine served in civilised fashion on my own dining room table. They're really good then, zestful in flavour, and a dish to be eaten with real enjoyment. For ins- tance, how about grilling them and adding an Onion-Tomato Sauce. It's a simple touch but it turns our picnic friend-, into, a real meat dish for dinner an Casy one, too:

2 teaspoons butter
