William Thomas Flack, private in the Royal Signals, was
at Chichester re- manded, charged with the murder on the Chichester to Funtington road of Mrs. Lilian Margaret Welch, of the A.T.S.
Supt. Savage stated that Flack
was arrested recently. A number
of enquiries were made, and the
matter was in the hands of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
