TRAVEL MILES PROSPECTS DISCUSSED

FOR HOME GAME

If E. Franks of Laichikok Prsion de- cides to play Lawn Bowls this season for Prison Officers' Club, Stanley, he will have to travel more than any other bowler for a home game.

Last year A. Jillott, who was in charge of the Remand Prison at the Central Police Station, WOS com- sidered the most travelled P.O.C. lawn bowler.

MACAO RACE HANDICAPS

Following are the handicaps for the the Macao race meeting to be held

By "Adrem"

THE FINALS OF THE VARIOUS COLONY CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS BEING HELD UNDER THE AUSPICES OF HONG KONG BADMINTON ASSOCIATION WILL BE HELD AT KOWLOON CRICKET CLUB, THIS EVENING AND ON THURSDAY.

In view of the fine displays of both men, much speculation has been caused as to the respective merits of Wong and Choy, the sin- gies finalists.

Whereas Choy is conceded to be the more complete player, with the added asset of having any amount of stamina, Wong has earned for himself the reputation of being a dour fighter with a great defence, who has in the past, beaten many a player acknowledged as his su perior. Wong's short game is also very accurate and he has the abil ity to vary his puce and direction with great skill.
