The lorry was stopped by Traffic officer in Chatham Road at 10 am, on March 19 and an ex- amination of the vehicle diselus- ed that the hand-brakes were not in good order.

Mr. Graye explained that lorry had constantly been used in transporting materials for A.R.P. purposes both in Hong Kong and no spare in Kowloon, and that time was available to repair it.
