·THE ANNUAL UNIVERSITY Phoenix crick match was played at Pokfulum-yesterday under pt fect cricket conditions, Dr. Ride's XI winning by fou wickets in an interesting match in which scoring by both sides was fast.
The Phoenixes batted first and though they lost Mathews and Gegn quickly, a fi partnershiți between Tam and Oh realised 67 uns, Tam played a brillant - ngs, scoring a round the wie- ket, especially freely on the le side and scored 58 bat of the 97 runis added while he was of the wickets.
