Mr. Kearley. who is Wood Green's A.R.P, medical storekee- ner, has started a "Buy Your Own | Bomb" campaign in the dis'rict, I He is inviting neighbours to club together to buy their own bomb and name it.

"There are plenty of bomber funds and fighter funds." he said. "But what good are the bombers without the bonibs?

"Becide bombers cost such # lot of money. Thirty bob. how- ever, buys a very useful incen- diary--with the big H.E. fel- lows correspondingly dearer- and the money is very quickly and easily saved up.

"A Real Kick"

"Anyone who has collected en- ough money for a bomb can get a real kick out of the knowledge that his contribution is doing a useful personal job

of

work--- instead of, perhaps, paying for a couple of screws and nuts.

"We are organising dances and concerts locally, the proceeds of which will be put to the bomb fund.

"Then I hope to get hold of an empty shop in which to exhibit the bombcages so that anyone who wants to write a "friendly little greeting will be able to do so."
