As in the first set, Kong started with service which he lost, and each player took a game altern- ately until the scores were tied at 4-all, when. Tsui won two in a Tow for the set and match.

In the fifth game Kong, on his own service, held advantage point four times before he could force it to game to lead for first time in this set.
