SKIPPER'S EXPLOITS

No page out of fiction, not even the imagination of Hollywood, could excel in thrills and romance the story of the exploits of a Flight Lieutenant, skip- per of a Sunderland flying boat, operating in Mediterranean.

The story of the destruction of! the two Italian submarines by Campbell and his crew has al- reany been told. Later, Campbell and his crew were themselves interned.

They

Campbell and his crew were re- leased.

It was while the crew were in Greece that it was announced that their commander had been awarded a Distinguished Flying Cross. Now they are back at duty in the Mediterranean, While they were in internment the Flight Lieutenant met many of the Greek and British inhabi- tants, and before he resumed the watch over the sea he married the daughter of a leading member of the British colony become engaged
