The replay of the Open Singles tennis match: Between M. Pagh and Umetani was again not do. cided after over two hours' play when the game was abandolied In the last got with the score at 11 all.

Pagh, giving an improved dis- play, won the first set at 6-4 and in the second set was leading by 3-2 but lost it by -3:

In the final set Pagh was lead- B. O'M. Deane and A. T. Dowing by 4 sets to 1 and seemed G W. Sewell and D. M. MacDougall | beat J. S. Theobald and P. J. assured of winning when he lead (15.1) v V. R. Gordon and M. H.

5-3 but he missed several easy chances. Umetani, by steady play, brought the score to 5 all and cach player in turn lost their own service. Pagh obtained the odd game several times and when well-placed to win allowed Utemani to draw level.

When the game was 10 all Umetani appeared to be suffering from cramp and after a delay. the gaine was continued. With the score at 11 all the game was abandoned owing to the light.
