Policeman Buried For Over A Week

THE CASUALTY LIST OF LAST WEEK'S CLYDESIDE AIR RAID HAS BEEN REDUCED BY ONE BY AN ALMOST INCREDIBLE RES- GUE OF A MAN WHO HAD BEEN BURIED SEVEN AND A HALF DAYS.

All hopes had been abandoned for saving a number of people buried deep in the wreck- age, including Donald Clark, a 32-year-old policeman, but after many tons of debris were cleared away, a man's voice was heard.

Frantic and unceasing efforts opened an aperture to enable a woman-doctor to ap- proach and give Clark an injection.
