The London Stock displayed a brighter tendency jes- terday and most markets were Arm. Among gilt-edged, Wa Loan advanced to 103-9/16 while several good features were seen in industrials, notably breweries, as well as Cable and Wire- less (56 against 5414). Oils tended higher, Shells being quoted at 43/11⁄2 against 41/10%. Kaffirs and coppers were firm on Cape buying. Home Rails were irre- gular. Japanese bonds recovered a further 10/- to-30/-. Wall Street was narrowly irregular-Reuter.
