It may be heresy even lo hunt at such a thing... but there at some irrepressible souls who think the best part of the turkey is its final wind-up

turkey soup.

Such Monest flavour, they claim. almost more than the turkey mat itself had, as though the very es- sence of flavour had been saved for this, its glorious finish.

And I agree, for my own turkey soup is something of which I'm really proud. You see, I add con- densed cream of mushroom soup which gives it an extra fìllup of deleate Invour, and a smoothness of texture that a delight to the palate Here's how it pu

Benes of one jeant frkey

2 quarters cold water

1 carrot, sliced

1 stalk celery

2 slices onion, medium size

Put all ingredients into a stew- ing kettle, bring to a boil and sim- mer, covered, for 2 hours.

Strain,

Makes 11⁄2 quarters stock.

1 quarters turkey stock

4 tablespoons.rice, uncooked

2 cans condensed

mushroom soup

cream

of stir well and add the turkey stock

with cooked rice.

Cook the rice in the turkey stock

For garnish ---add 4 tablespoons until soft when pressed between of chopped tomato {firm part) the fingers. Empty the cream of and 1 teaspoon chopped parsley. mushroom soup into a saucepan, Makes 2% quaris.

Note:

No salt and pepper

were used in this recipe because the season- ing in the cream of mushroom soup seemed adequate. However, you may prefer to add about teaspoon of salt and pinch of pepper.

These brewed from native Latin: American plants, are the same rich lovely colours you find in Indian pottery and scrapes vivid green of giant fern, vibrant purple, geranium red, charteuse and chola (which is a most mag- netic purple-red). Important too is the natural beige of unbleach- ed hemp. To wear these, one's complexion must be exquisitely bronzed by the sun's good rays or --artificially bronzed with a new complexion tint and liquid rouge! Yes, my dears, pale faces can be made into mystery-eyed Peru- vian beauties with the aid of two little bottles of liquid and a vi- brant lipstick.

The tint is applied to your skin with a bit of dry cotton and then blended with your fingers much the same way as you apply a foun- dation lotion. The trick is to cover ALL your exposed skin your face and neck, behind your eurs, your arms and hands. If a few pale spòta remain the effect 'you desire. is entirely destroyed.

The first application makes your skin glow as if you had a few re- cent sun baths, and ‚a deeper, bronze tan is possible with a sc- cond application of tho tint.

Other Use For Tint

Women who have skin' caused from OF pigment-lacking condition, could use this liquid com plexion tint to advantage. By deftly applying the tint to the paler arpás and blending it with finger tips it is possible to obtain one lovely tone, then over this the rouge may go.

The nice thing about such cosmetic is that it permits one to change type. Once you get bor- ed with your too bleached, winter skin you can, presto, paint on à harmless shade or two and turn out to be a ravishing bronze benu- y! But do remember that such a skin tope requires a very vivid lipstick a true yellow-scarlet, or a cerise scarlet. The deeper win- ter lipsticks look dull with us tint.

In case you wonder, the tint and rouge may be removed eas- lly with cleansing cream or bland soap and water. And it is best to put it on freshly washed skin there is no need for a founda- tion under it.
