As future historians, when they come to tell the full will story of "Eagle Squadron," probably speak of the aptness of its title and its emblem, it may be useful to record just how Eagle Squadron got its badge.

ANSWER: Bid three diamonds; Your partner has made a try for game, hoping you have fairly balanced distribution and a little more than minimum strength. You have the slight extra strength, but must show the unbalanced dis- tribution by bidding your other suit.
Score 100% for three diamonds; 50% for three no-trump, 30% for three hearts; 20% for pass.
