This is the sixth day of our trek into an unexplored wilderness and although fatigued and with rations low and trucks battered, we have sighted our objective on the far-off horizon.

We can now look back on many score miles of track blazed through bush and for- est, sometimes through raging bush fires, and know that the success of our safari is assured and soon our tracks will be transformed into the first British-made road in Abyssinia.
