NAZI NETWORK IN UNITED STATES

LATEST INDICATIONS in New York and Washington are that the U.S. authorities now have a mass of information about Nazi espionage, sabo- tage and propaganda organisation in the United States.

Hundreds of investigators have been sending in reports on what turns out to be a fantastic network the methodical Nazis have stretched across the continent.

LOCAL EFFECT OF BLAST DAMAGE

These investigators have been working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, for the Depart- ment of Justice, for the Dies Com- mittee (set up by Congress to as- semble evidence of subversive ac- tivity) and for District Attorneys' offices in separate States and cities.

A story that has recently come from Washington is that both the Federal Bureau and the Dies Com- mittee have gathered such potent material that the State Department has had to take a hand.
