The Combined Small Units team is mostly drawn from: the Medical Corps. Lieut. Coombes is one of the Army's most dangerous three-quarters or halves and is sure of his place.

Capt. Scriven is a fine scrtun- half and will most probably cap- tain the Small Units' fifteen.

Pto, Macdonald is another play- ander who this year has improved considerably; he has taken the place of L/Bdr. Marsh in the Army team at right wing three- quarter.

Royal Scots will play Sing Tue on Sunday at Sookunpoo and they will have to give a much better performance than in their last three or four matches if they want to share, or even take points from Sing Tao who cannot afford to lose at this time, when they arc fighting for League Championship honoura

Middlesex will have a hard game on Saturday against Kow- loon, who are next to them in the League. The Middies are ahead of all the non-Chinese teams in this League and they win this match, they wil have a good chance of remaining in this posi- tion for the rest of the season.

THE Large Units Rugby league is due to start soon and some good games should be Rugby witnessed, especially botween the Combined Small Units, Royal Scots, and Cumbined Royal Artillery, who are the three strongest teams in this League.

Royal Scots have several Army players, including 2/Lieut. Millar. Pinkerton, and Ford, of the Army pack.

Cpl. Sutherland, and Capt. Douglass, the Army centre-three- quarter, is playing at fly-half for the Scots and the remainder of the Royal Scuts' fifteen consist

of their 'A' and 'B' team players.

The Combined Royal Artillery have a number of selections and should be able to produce a strong team. They have a few outstand- ing players in Lieut. Clague, the former Army tull-back, who is certain to fill this position for the Gunners.

Capt. P. J. Skipwith, who has recently recovered from leg in- jury, 2/Lieut. T. A. Pearce, L/Sgt. Marsh, and Bdr. Richards, will in all probability form quarters line.
