Major Battle In Albania Looming
(SPECIAL TO "CHINA MAIL"} The Greek and Italian forces yesterday were pre- paring for an immediate large-scale battle on the northern front which may decide the fate of Elbasan, as fine weather ended the snowstorms which have hampered activities for days.
The opening blasts of the big battle sounded

The "China Mail" learned this afternoon that the Italian matron who was killed when the Japanese bombed Wai- chow yesterday, was Mother Maria Biffi, head of the Joseph's Canossian Hospital.
Mother Biff had been in the East for the last 34 years. She was 56 years old and had been in Walchow for the last 12 years.
