70,000 PRISONERS TAKEN IN WESTERN DESERT

THE SCALE OF THE British successes in the Western Desert can be gauged from facts made available in London yesterday.

Since the first attack on December 9

just under a month ago it is estimated that our Imperial and Allied troops have put 94,000 Italians out of action.
