The first match of the series was played as per schedule day. It was between First Division and Second Division, and resulted in a win for Second Division by Po less than 166 m, the scores being as follows:

Evans of Second Division was easily the top-scorer of the match, with 297. followed closely by Fierce, also of Second Division, with 281.

The remaining players on both sides were mediocre und only averaged from about 75 pins to 43 pins per game. Nevertheless the match produced a good deal of interest and keenness.

The average scure per player for Second Division was 92 pins, and for First Division, 78.2 pins per game.

Win For Fifth

The second match of the series was also played on Monday, be- tween the Fourth and Fifth Divi- slons, Fifth winning by 68 pins. It was expected that the experi- enced Drewes and Vasko, good Duck Pin bowlers that they are. would lead the Fourth Division to Victory, but they were not at their best.
