CHARLIE CHAPLIN SAYS

HOUSES ROBBED BY GERMANS
Every house in Guernsey has been searched by German troops and all food, canned and preserv- ed, taken away.
This is disclosed by a Channel Island re- fugee in a letter to Mr. C. G. Ammon. M.P.
The inhabitants of the island are allow- ed two meals a day.
The refugee also states that he has heard from his four sisters, left in Guern- sey, that his seventy- four-year-old brother- in-law was machine- gunned and killed on the first day of the German invasion.
