HEAVY RAID ON ITALIAN AIR BASE

A LARGE NUMBER of enemy aircraft on the ground at Benina, in the Western Desert, were at- tacked by the R.A.F., declared the Air Ministry news service in London yesterday.

Two S79 three-engined Italian bombers were destroyed and two others severely damaged. Bombs fell among other aircraft.
